I've been using this under-desk treadmill for four weeks now. I researched MANY cheaper options but worried they would end up in a landfill within a year. I'm so glad I went with Lifespan. This treadmill is sturdy and high quality. It's heavy, yes, but once in place it's easy to roll back and forth when I need a break. I walk at least four hours every work day. It keeps me warm on cold days, encourages me to drink more water, and I feel...happy...all day, which is not typical for me with my daily work demands! I used to feel cranky and tired during my work day when sitting; I feel better physically and mentally at the end of a day now that I'm walking while I work. I have MORE energy at the end of the day, which I did not expect. I haven't found any issues keyboarding while walking. Fine mouse movements are a bit more challenging, but are getting better with practice. I'll temporarily slow my pace or pause the treadmill if I need to for specific work, but general email/spreadsheet/document drafting is no problem. I'm glad I went with the shorter treadmill (TR1000) as it fits in my workspace better and is easier to maneuver when needed. I never come close to "falling" off the end. I'm 5'7". If you're on the fence between getting a treadmill or just standing to work, get the treadmill. It's definitely easier on my feet and legs to move! If you're on the fence between Lifespan and a cheaper brand, I encourage you to consider longevity. I trust that the Lifespan will keep working for a long time, and I know replacement parts are available if something goes wrong. The cheaper treadmills cease to be the less expensive option if they break within a year and can't be fixed!

Game changer... I have more energy during the day. Here in gloomy New England, I can get some light exercise in after work by reading a book while walking or watching a show. If I'm antsy during work and absolutely need to push through, this helps tremendously. I work a desk job while managing ADHD and this is the answer to tolerating staying in one place for hours. If you have long legs or a long stride, consider the next size up. This treadmill isn't impossible to move around, but it is a little heavy. The yoga ball is actually great to sit on, so I never needed to swing the treadmill out of the way to move the office chair back in. Not difficult at all to type while walking. This review is written two months after use - no problems with the product at all. Customer service was absent before purchasing and although helpful during shipping, I had to be proactive. I use it for up to 2.5hrs at a time and at least 3 days/week. It's pretty quiet too - the sound of stepping is louder than the motor.

The device is FANTASTIC! But it comes strapped to a long wood pallet and, even once off of the pallet, is quite heavy. I am 6'2" and 300lbs and work in a warehouse and STILL needed help from a friend to move it and set it up where I wanted it. Once it is set up, and you take a few minutes to tweak the tension as per the manual, it works BEAUTIFULLY. But you REALLY NEED 2 people to move it to where you want it to live. And that SHOULD be written on the website.

Love the ability to be able to get my steps In while I work! My mind is more focused and it was a breeze typing on my keyboard after a few steps. I honestly didn’t like the whole WFH experience, I felt so lazy and was not motivated to work. This treadmill has definitely changed my focus and mind, has turned by negative WFH experience to a happy, positive one! I did a lot of research on under the desk treadmills and decided my health was worth the investment for a quality under the desk treadmill. Buy it you’ll only regret not getting one sooner!
